Welcome to a Swedish Cup finally taking place at the legendary Tallhed Airfield in Dalarna i the middle of Sweden.
The comp will be FAI cat2 sanctioned. 29-31 May are the official days (1 june is reserve day)
The comp will be held with towing takeoffs and we'll have takeoff in all winddirections.
Elapsed time will be used on all tasks and re-starts will be allowed if you hasn't left the quite big start cylinder around takeoff.
Comp beginner friendly. We especially encourage comp-rookies to join as all tasks shall be made so everyone will have a decent chance of reaching goal or at least get away on nice XC flights.
Pilot Quantity:
25 pilots will be the maximum participating amount of pilots due to the towing capacity (pilots are allowed to relaunch if they did not exit the startgate.) 25% (6 pilots) participant spots are held for international pilots according to CIVL rules for a cat2 event until 45 days before the comp.
Fee: 900 SEK or 80 EUR
There are lots of free camping spots (RVs, tents) around HQ the club house at Tallhed.
Accomodation in bunkbeds at "logementet" is included (bring your own sheets) but beds are limited. Contact Meet director if you need a bed.
-PAYMENT: When you get "Waiting payment" status please pay within 10 days to have your spot guaranteed.

LOCAL RULES:
The competition will be valid if minimum one task with minimum 10 pilots participating is done according to the Swedish Cup rules.
License:
Swedish pilots need Swedish P2 + Comp1/2 + FAI license.
Foreign comp pilots need FAI license.

Certified equipment: Glider, harness, reserve, helmet.
2m radio. (charged!)
Smartphone + Telegram app + Volando app
Instrument/Vario with GPS recorder for spare tracklog.
Towing bridles.
First aid kit.
Waypoints:
Official Waypoints can be downloaded here on the civlcomps site before the comp. We intend to use same waypoints as 2024.
Airspace:
All pilots must be familiar with the airspaces of the area. We'll of course include airspace regards in the briefings.

The airspace files in for example XCtrack or flyskyhy should be correct.
Retrieve:
There will be at least one retrieve minibus providing retrieve between takeoff and goal.
Pilots can of course fly XC further after goal but can't expect official retrieve.

1000 Mandatory Safety and Competition Briefing + Task and Security committee nomination etc.
Daily preliminary schedule:
1100 Task committee meeting
1130 Briefing / Task presentation at Takeoff of the day.
1200 Takeoff/Startgate open (Elapsed time tasks)
1600 Start close
1800 Goal close
1830 Deadline report back time (If some pilots is still flying on long XC we'll see that on trackers)
2200 Provisional results posted online
Accommodation: 100 kr/day for bunk beds, bring your own sleeping bag or bedclothes.
There is also possible to sleep in your mobile home or tent, 100 kr/day.
Charging electric car: 40 kr.
