

Paragliding club Fenix proudly presents the third Swedish cup 2025 from their mighty towing field of Myrsjö.
The comp will be FAI cat2 sanctioned and will be held sat-sun 14-15 June.
Mentorship and Comp beginner friendly!
We especially encourage comp-rookies to join as all tasks shall be made so everyone will have a decent chance of reaching goal or at least get away on nice XC flights.
Elapsed time will be used on all tasks and re-launch for pilots that land and hasn't exit the start gate cylinder around the field.
Pilot Quantity:
25 pilots will be the maximum participating amount
25% (6 pilots) participant spots are held for international pilots according to CIVL rules for a cat2 event until 45 days before the comp.
Registration will open: Saturday 18th January 1000CET
If you get Waiting Payment Status then you got 10 days to pay or you'll be on waiting list and someone on the waitinglist will get your spot.
Fee: 900SEK / 80EUR
If the comp is cancelled without any tasks there will be 80% payback to pilots.
LOCAL RULES:
The competition will be valid if minimum one task with minimum 10 pilots participating is done according to the Swedish Cup rules.
License:
Swedish pilots need Swedish P2 + Comp1/2 + FAI license.
Foreign comp pilots need FAI license and insurances sufficient to fly in Sweden.

Certified equipment: Glider, harness, reserve, helmet.
2m radio.
Smartphone + Volandoo app + Telegram app
Instrument/Vario with GPS recorder for spare tracklog.

Waypoints:
Official Waypoints can be downloaded here on the civlcomps site before the comp. The Final waypoint files are set 7 days before the comp. Prior to that the waypoints might be changed.
The tasks will be presented and shared as QR code (Xctrack/flyskyhy) as usual.
Airspace:
All pilots must be familiar with the airspaces in Sweden. We'll of course include airspace regards in the briefings.

The airspace files in for example XC track is usually correct.
There will be airsport flying sectors that will be open but very important to listen to the briefings about what airspace altitudes we can use.
Retrieve:
There will be an official retrieve minibus.
Continue to flyg XC after goal...
All pilots are of course allowed to fly away as far as possible on XC if reaching the goal high.
Retrieve will only be provided between launch and goal.

1000 Mandatory Safety and Competition Briefing + Task and Security committee nomination etc.
Daily preliminary schedule:
1100 Task committee meeting
1130 Briefing / Task presentation at Takeoff of the day.
1200 Takeoff/Startgate open (Elapsed time tasks)
1600 Start close
1800 Goal close
1830 Deadline report back time (If some pilots is still flying on long XC we'll see that on trackers)
