Welcome to the forth ans last Swedish Cup 2025 at Åre the mecca of Swedish mountain flying!

The comp will be FAI cat2 sanctioned. 27-28 June is the official days but we may use sunday 29 June as reserve day.

Mentorship and Comp beginner friendly!
We especially encourage comp-rookies to join as all tasks shall be made so everyone will have a decent chance of reaching goal or at least get away on nice XC flights.

Restart will be allowed 1 time, untill you have enterd the air start.

Pilot Quantity:
70 pilots
25% (12 pilots) participant spots are held for international pilots according to CIVL rules for a cat2 event until 60 days before the comp.

Registration will open: Saturday 18th January 1000CET

If you get Waiting Payment Status then you got 10 days to pay or you'll be on waiting list and someone on the waitinglist will get your spot. 

PAYMENT for Swedish pilots by SWISH to 1230831198. Write "Sverige Cup and your Name".
Ev foreign pilots will get IBAN number.

Fee: 700SEK / 60EUR

The competition will be valid if minimum one task with minimum 10 pilots participating is done according to the Swedish Cup rules.
Pilots will be able to take the ski lifts to takeoff (at their own expense) or hike up.

License:
Swedish pilots need Swedish P2 + Comp1/2 + FAI license.
Foreign comp pilots need FAI license and insurances sufficient to fly in Sweden.

Mandatory Equipment:
Certified equipment: Glider, harness, reserve, helmet.
2m radio. (146.7625) lokol radio frequency will be used.
Smartphone + Volandoo app + Telegram app
Instrument/Vario with GPS recorder for spare tracklog.
First aid kit.

Waypoints:
Official Waypoints can be downloaded here on the civlcomps site before the comp. The Final waypoint files are set 7 days before the comp. Prior to that the waypoints might be changed.
The tasks will be presented and shared as QR code (Xctrack/flyskyhy) as usual.

Airspace:
All pilots must be familiar with the airspaces in Sweden. We'll of course include airspace regards in the briefings.

There will be retrieve minibuses. we have 3 driver that makes the 1 st picup. after that pilots may help.

Continue to fly XC after goal...
All pilots are of course allowed to fly away as far as possible on XC if reaching the goal high.
Retrieve will only be provided between launch and goal.

2000 Task committee meeting (Day before task) primairy task will be set, and brifing time for next day.
