The New Zealand Hang Gliding National Open Championship will once again be held in Murchison south of Nelson. Murchison has proved year after year to be a fantastic and consistent location for our national flying competition. We are looking forward to another amazing week of flying!

International pilots are very welcome. If you are thinking of coming to NZ to fly, the NZ Hang gliding national champs is an excellent way to fly some of the best conditions you will find in New Zealand. Also you will meet some great people and enjoy a laid back atmosphere complete with a sparkling clean river and swimming hole and great amenities at the riverside camp ground.
